Body and history
- Panels, paint and gaps checked for signs of previous accident repairs
- Rust, corrosion and water damage
- Glass, lights, lenses and mirrors
- VIN, compliance and build plates checked against the paperwork
- Service history and logbook reviewed
Engine and drivetrain
- Cold start check where the seller allows it
- Oil, coolant, brake and transmission fluid level and condition
- Oil and coolant leaks
- Belts, hoses, mounts and radiator
- Battery and charging system tested
- Gearbox, clutch and differential operation
Electronics
- Full diagnostic scan for stored and pending fault codes
- Warning lights, instruments and dash functions
- Air conditioning and heating
- Windows, locks, infotainment and cameras
Tyres, brakes, steering and suspension
- Tyre tread depth, age and wear pattern, including the spare
- Brake pads, discs and brake fluid
- Steering components and free play
- Shock absorbers, bushes and suspension joints
Underbody
- Exhaust system
- Chassis rails and underbody for damage or repairs
- Leaks from the engine, gearbox and differential
Interior and safety
- Seat belts, airbag warning light and horn
- Seats, trim and odometer reading
- Signs of flood damage or excessive wear for the kilometres

Your report
You get a photo report sent to your phone, with every finding explained in plain English and marked by how urgent it is. We call you to walk you through it, so you know exactly what you’re buying and what it will cost to fix.
